The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts. This senior leadership role is critical in driving the company’s growth strategy, brand positioning, and market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS and digital commerce, with a proven track record of leading successful marketing teams and campaigns. Digital Commerce industry experience is key.

What You'll Do:

  • Marketing Strategy and Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives.
    • Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
    • Oversee all aspects of marketing, including demand generation, brand management, content marketing, product marketing, and communications.
  • Brand Development and Positioning:
    • Define and enhance the company’s brand positioning and messaging to resonate with target audiences.
    • Ensure consistent and compelling brand representation across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Demand Generation and Growth:
    • Develop and implement demand generation strategies to drive lead acquisition and revenue growth.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing campaigns and maximize ROI.
    • Collaborate with sales to align marketing efforts with sales goals and objectives.
  • Product Marketing:
    • Lead product marketing initiatives to effectively communicate product value propositions and differentiate CommerceIQ in the market.
    • Partner with product management to develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature releases.
  • Content and Digital Marketing:
    • Oversee content strategy and creation, ensuring high-quality and engaging content across all platforms.
    • Drive digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and website optimization.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats.
    • Leverage insights to inform marketing strategies and ensure CommerceIQ remains ahead of industry trends.
  • Communications and Public Relations:
    • Develop and execute a communications strategy to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.
    • Manage public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Budget and Performance Management:
    • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
    • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, providing regular updates to executive leadership.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 10 years in a leadership role within the SaaS or digital commerce industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth and brand recognition.
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce and the unique challenges and opportunities it presents.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM software, and analytics platforms.
