We are searching for a Senior Director of Product Marketing to drive product adoption and revenue growth through strategic and creative initiatives. Reporting directly to the CMO, this role will have the opportunity to define the vision for how our products are positioned and perceived within the competitive AI market, while also building and leading a high performing team. 

The ideal candidate will have a technical background and/or deep knowledge of AI, LLMs and infrastructure to allow them to support our sales and marketing teams, and ultimately to drive awareness and interest in our products. We are looking for a leader who is an exceptional communicator that is both comfortable simplifying the complex and also discussing GenAI development requirements and techniques internally with product managers as well as externally at conferences and virtual events.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Product Marketing Strategy: Create and execute a product marketing strategy to drive growth and adoption in AI.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop and refine product positioning and messaging to effectively communicate a clear value proposition of SambaNova solutions to customers, partners, and key stakeholders. Lead development of product messaging and positioning, including competitive differentiation across different customer segments. This also includes the development of compelling and easy to understand internally facing content for Sales, Customer Support, Comms, and others including sales training, positioning, FAQs, battlecards, and more.
  • Go-to-Market Planning: Perform market and technology research to understand AI trends, how landscape is changing and how customers are adopting AI. Collaborate to develop and execute go-to-market plans for new products and features, including launch strategies, sales enablement, and customer success. Partner closely with demand generation to tell compelling stories that help build demand and drive revenue.
  • Content Creation and Distribution: Develop and distribute high-quality content to educate customers and prospects about SambaNova’s solutions.
  • Metrics and Analytics: Develop and track key metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of product marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success: Work closely with sales and customer success teams to ensure alignment and maximize impact of product marketing efforts. Create an engine to highlight customer stories, successes, and accomplishments.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Product Marketing experience within the B2B enterprise technology space.
  • 3+ years of experience building and managing high performing Product Marketing teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with content creation and distribution, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and webinars.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Results-oriented with a collaborative and customer-focused mindset.
  • Role is hybrid and based in Palo Alto.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a high growth technology startup environment.
  • Experience marketing products that are focused on AI, ML, and infrastructure.

Annual Salary Range and Level

The base salary for this position ranges from $240k per year up to $300k per year. This range is based on role, level, and location and reflects the salary target for new hires in the US. Individual pay within the range will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s job-related qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
