About the Role:
We are a dynamic, rapidly growing Series A-stage startup on a mission to create an all-in-one marketing platform that creates AI-powered software solutions that eliminate the need for marketing agencies for small businesses. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Founding Sales Solutions Architect to join our growing team. In this dynamic, customer-facing role, you will work closely with both the sales and technical teams to design and propose tailored solutions that meet our clients' business objectives. As a key player in our sales process, you will use your expertise to bridge the gap between complex technical products and customer business needs, driving the sales cycle while ensuring that proposed solutions align with long-term success. The ideal candidate will be both technically proficient and business-savvy, with a passion for crafting solutions that deliver value and solve real-world challenges.
The Founding Sales Solution Architect will play a critical role in driving the early-stage growth of StyleAI by blending deep technical expertise with business acumen to help shape customer-facing solutions and win key deals. As the company is still in the early stages of product-market fit, this role requires adaptability, creativity, and a willingness to take on multiple responsibilities. The Sales Solutions Architect is not just a technical expert—they are a strategic partner to the sales, engineering and product teams, actively contributing to the company’s success by aligning customer needs with the evolving product offering.
This role is based in San Francisco. It is a fully in-person position in our office 5 days a week
Responsibilities:
Engage in discovery calls and requirements gathering to propose tailored solutions.
Advise customers on best practices for implementing, configuring, and scaling solutions.
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them navigate complex technical challenges and guiding them through the decision-making process.
Address customer concerns, answer technical queries, and provide expert advice throughout the sales cycle.
Actively participate in customer meetings to understand business challenges and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
Partner with internal teams (engineering, product management, customer success, etc.) to ensure the feasibility of solutions and smooth execution of projects post-sale.
Build and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders, acting as a bridge between the technical and business sides of the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or business, or equivalent applied work experience.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, wearing multiple hats, and being a self-starter.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
A passion for startups and an eagerness to be part of building a company from the ground up.
Previous experience in a Series A or early-stage startup is highly desirable, as well as an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in scaling a company.
Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making.
Experience building long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders, focusing on customer success and satisfaction.
Compensation:
The expected range of compensation for this role is between $110,000 and $250,000. Additionally, this role will participate in our equity plan. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at StyleAI and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors such as scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s experience and qualifications, and onboarding.
