As Scale continues to build and develop its field marketing and events program, we seek a talented and motivated Event & Field Marketing Associate to support our Marketing & Communications team in their event and field marketing initiatives. These initiatives include but are not limited to third-party trade show sponsorships, Scale-hosted executive events, Scale-hosted practitioner events and meetups, and our annual flagship conference, Scale Summit. 

You will join a rapidly growing team with the opportunity to support event execution, impact lead generation, and pipeline growth, and contribute to event programming with the largest names in AI. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of marketing principles, strong project management skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for AI & technology.

You will:

  • Coordinate event logistics, including executive dinners, round tables, happy hours, and sponsored trade shows.
  • Coordinate Scale’s virtual event program (webinars, virtual round tables, fireside chats).
  • Contribute to Scale’s annual commercial conference, ensuring seamless execution and impactful experiences for attendees.
  • Manage deliverables and track progress to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Manage budgets and procurement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, communications, growth marketing, brand, sales, and EPD teams to consistently articulate and share Scale AI’s vision and value proposition.
  • Track event performance and provide detailed recaps, analytics, and recommendations for future optimization
  • Be willing to travel up to 30% as required for event execution.

Ideally you'd have:

  • 2-5 years of experience in event marketing or marketing campaign management, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
  • Collaborative and positive attitude, with the ability to work across teams, including executive leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with executives and their teams.
  • Must be punctual, professional, reliable, highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with CMS and other sales/marketing platforms (SFDC, Hubspot, Outreach, etc.)
  • Previous experience managing third-party relationships and contracts.
  • Previous community engagement experience is advantageous.
  • Previous experience at a high-growth startup or technology company.

Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. Scale employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval.
