About Organization

The mission of the Quality Assurance Platform Division is to deliver products and services with the highest standards of quality and reliability to Rakuten Mobile's commercial network. Prioritizing customer satisfaction, the division contributes to the quality improvement and stable operation of Rakuten Mobile's commercial network through continuous improvement and innovation.

Job Duties

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with respective domain requirements and goals, achieving set priorities.

  • Requirement Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and identify qualitative and quantitative ways automation can improve efficiency, delivery, cost, and process optimization, adding value to the domains.

  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate automation technologies and solutions to determine the best options for meeting project objectives. Consider factors such as scalability, compatibility with existing systems, cost-effectiveness, and ease of implementation.

  • Team Coordination: Lead team coordination, including members from Automations, Apps, and NW domains, and respective SMEs. Assign tasks and action ownership, fostering a collaborative working environment.

  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and technology, to support the successful execution of automation projects. Ensure resources are utilized with maximum efficiency and make adjustments as needed to ensure project delivery.

  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and obstacles that may impact project delivery within the timeline and develop mitigation plans for successful delivery.

  • Communication Management: Establish clear communication channels and protocols to keep stakeholders informed about project progress, milestones, and any changes or challenges encountered. Provide regular updates to stakeholders through status reports, meetings, and presentations.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of delivered automated solutions meets user expectations. Assess testing and validation results to identify and address any issues or defects.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain standard documentation of project plans, requirements, decisions, and outcomes. Generate regular reports on project status, resource utilization, and key performance indicators for management.

  • Post-Implementation Support: Provide post-implementation support to ensure the automated results are effective in daily operations for end users. Address any issues or concerns raised by end-users and implement refinements as needed.

  • Audit Management: Handle ISO and internal audits, implementing requirements based on audit results.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Technical Knowledge: Understand the principles and technologies behind Telco Network and Apps automation, including robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), and workflow automation tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and CICD.

  • Process Understanding: Comprehensive understanding of automation workflow processes for end-to-end project management.

  • Project Management: Solid project management skills, including planning, defining objectives, resource allocation, execution, and monitoring of automation projects, with a focus on tracking progress and milestones.

  • Stakeholder Management: Effective management of multiple stakeholders, including Apps and NW owners, end-users, and external teams. This involves identifying needs and expectations, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project, and proactively addressing concerns or conflicts.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that automated processes meet quality standards and performance requirements. Implement testing procedures to validate automation solutions and address any issues or defects identified during QA testing.

  • Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication is critical for conveying project goals, updates, and expectations to all stakeholders.

  • Kaizen: Follow the Kaizen (continuous improvement) philosophy, seeking opportunities to optimize and enhance automated processes over time, based on end-user feedback.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with automation projects, such as technical challenges or security concerns, and be prepared with mitigation strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in the relevant field
