Role Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Marketing Manager (PMM) based in San Francisco, California, or Paris, France, to drive revenue growth and partner success. This PMM would be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, enabling Mistral's sales team and partners, and driving demand for our products.
Key Responsibilities As our first Product Marketing Manager, you will report directly to our Product Marketing Lead. Your scope will be twofold:
1/ Revenue Enablement- Sales Enablement: Create sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, battle cards, case studies, and product demos to empower Mistral's sales team.- Product Messaging: Craft compelling product messaging and value propositions that resonate with Mistral's target audiences.- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and features, driving demand and adoption.
2/ Partner Enablement- Partner Onboarding: Develop and deliver onboarding programs to educate new partners on Mistral's products, sales processes, and marketing resources. - Partner Sales Enablement: Create co-branded sales collateral, pitch decks, and other resources to support Mistral's partners' sales efforts. - Joint Marketing: Collaborate with partners to develop and execute joint marketing plans that drive demand and generate leads.- Partner Training: Conduct regular training sessions to keep partners informed about new products, features, and roadmaps. - Partner Performance: Monitor and analyze partner performance, providing regular updates to the partner and internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications- 4+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in product marketing (both in revenue and partner enablement) in the tech or B2B software industry- Strong experience marketing technical/complex products- Exceptional ability to create and articulate value propositions, messaging, product and brand positioning across all relevant stakeholders and to package these as compelling stories that engage target audiences - Experience working in a constantly changing environment with multiple internal stakeholders- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (native) and, ideally, other European languages
Preferred Qualifications- Previous position in a sales-related role- Top 10 MBA or experience in a very demanding environment (i.e.,strategy consulting, high-growth startups)- Experience marketing open-source, AI or LLM products would be a plus
