As a Technology Strategy Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing technology strategies within our organization. Your responsibilities will span across various domains, including business case development, product performance management, software product development, executive and board reporting, program governance, acting as a Product Owner, and program strategy enablement. The primary focus of this role is to drive the successful implementation of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) program, ensuring that AI-enabled software products align with our business objectives.

 

The Technology Strategy Analyst will focus on an AI program that aims to create AI-enabled software products aligned with our business outcomes. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams, drive innovation, and contribute to the organization’s growth through strategic technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess technology needs and opportunities.
  • Analyse market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry best practices.
  • Develop compelling business cases for technology investments, considering cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments.
  • Support the maintenance of a valued and prioritised backlog of opportunities.
  • Support the activities required to establish product teams including workforce and demand management, market engagement, vendor selection and onboarding.
  • Support the creation and ongoing management of program-level product performance and value management.
  • Monitor the performance of AI-enabled products, leveraging product teams and their outputs.
  • Support Steering Committee reviews and stage gate decisions.
  • Support strategic activities identifying areas for improvement, scalability, and optimization.
  • When required, act as an interim Product Owner for products.
  • Work closely with domain stakeholders, product managers, engineers, and data scientists to define product requirements.
  • Support and guide the use of patterned product development approaches throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership and the board.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience in technology strategy, product management, or software development.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
