What You Will Do
In order to develop channel strategies and brand strategies, data analysis and delivery from a shopper-centric perspective are becoming increasingly important. This role is responsible for collaborating with both external and internal stakeholders to lead data collection, analysis, and delivery efforts. The position also drives shopper x channel and customer strategies, incorporating these insights into category growth strategies for each brand. By doing so, it aims to generate synergies and enhance the competitive edge in creating customer value through our brands.
· Enhancing Data as an Asset and Promoting Streamlined Reporting
1. Managing POS data and data master files from a shopper-focused analytical perspective (including segment preparation for analysis and developing new approaches).
2. Improving internal data systems using external market data sources (e.g., Intage SRI+, SCI, Planet, Fuji Keizai, etc.).
3. Optimizing data resources and reporting through collaboration with external and internal stakeholders.
· Supporting Channel Strategy Development through Databases
1. Collecting and delivering data to support shopper x channel strategies.
2. Promoting shopper-centric initiatives based on data insights (including project management).
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications:
· Experience in data management or project management, including executing the PDCA cycle (Plan-Do-Check-Act).
· Demonstrated ability to take initiative and achieve results in solving challenges.
· Proven track record of overcoming setbacks and achieving high goals even after facing failures.
· Experience in sales or sales strategy within an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) company.
· Experience or knowledge of proposals based on channel or shopper databases.
· Data Analysis and Management Skills: Experience in managing data resources from input to output.
· Innovative Selling Techniques: Experience in developing and testing cutting-edge sales approaches.
· Business Analysis Capabilities: Proficiency in creating hypotheses, analyzing data, and preparing proposals.
· PC Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
