Job Title:              Lead Data Science Analyst (multiple openings)

Job Location:       Riverwoods, IL

Job Type:              Full Time 

Duties: Leads the development and implementation of advanced analytics including customer segmentation, optimization, prescriptive analytics and machine learning algorithm & recommendation to solve business problems. Operates as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis, test and design of experiment, analysis methodology, modeling & application, and financial impact analysis. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Position requires 10% domestic travel.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Science Analyst-related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Science Analyst-related occupation.

Position required skills: Position requires experience in the following: Building analytical datasets and reports from structured and unstructured data, including external vendor data sources, using Teradata, Oracle, and Snowflake SQL; Researching business processes and its mapping to various data tables, using scripting code including window functions, recursive CTEs, and encrypted text mining; Creating user-independent analytical scripts to automate data pipelines & KPIs tracking through SAS, R, Python, Snowflake, Teradata, UNIX, GitHub, Airflow, AWS Air9, S3, EC2; Designing tabular and graphical dashboards using Tableau for audiences across the technical spectrum; Developing E2E predictive machine learning models using SAS EM, SAS FM, decision trees, hypothesis testing, customer segmentation, optimization, financial impact analysis; Advanced data analytics in SAS, Snowflake, R, Python, H2O, Air9, Airflow, GitHub, Tableau, Excel Macros, Pivot Tables, Vlookup, and Graphs; Analyzing customer-company interactions through Orion/Verint and business case presentations to leadership; Maintaining documentation of the processes and changes using Blueworks/GitHub to actively manage risk and cross-functional collaboration.

Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program 

Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $116,334 to $177,300. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
