The Website Strategy Team is responsible for shaping the Akamai.com content, design and user experience. We work across marketing and website operations to engage users and drive demand generation.

As a Website Content Strategist, you will lead web content strategy for our security business This is a cross-functional role with partners and stakeholders across Akamai.

As a Website Content Strategist you will be responsible for:

• Understanding the security persona tasks and needs, and applying best practices for user journeys, content architectures and site engagement
• Leading the relationships with stakeholders to shape content strategy, content needs, SEO and storytelling for our security products and solutions on the website
• Briefing copywriters and designers, and collaborating with them to create engaging pages, graphics and experiences.
• Working with Jira tickets, copydocs, web components and page templates to create page mockups for stakeholder review and to manage the final hand-off to Web Publishing
• Driving a data driven approach with content audits, competitive reviews and website analytics for continuous optimization.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 8 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, website content strategy or related with some B2B or high tech experience is preferred
• Have experience working with user and content journeys, website components, templates, wireframes and mockups.
• Have proven experience managing multiple complex projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Have strong communication skills and experience building and leading cross-functional relationships.
