Job Description
 

In the role as Student Support in the AI Solution Engineering team you will take care of the following tasks:

  • Developing, testing and delivering AI/ML solutions according to business needs;

  • Further developing our proprietary AI platform with regard to backend and frontend components, as well as business-driven use cases;

  • Extracting business requirements and creating specifications required to deliver AI/ML solutions as a bridge between businesses and technology teams;

  • Collaborating and communicating between the business and technology teams;

  • Developing and using applications along extract, transform and load (ETL) processes;

  • Integrating data from multiple sources, including internal and external systems, to create comprehensive data sets;

  • Supporting business process re-design and simplification using data & technologies;

  • Producing training materials and training business users in using the tools;

  • Actively support and share knowledge across the extended Data & Analytics team.

Requirements

Mandatory requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, information technology, artificial intelligence, engineering, mathematics, statistics or any other STEM degree;

  • Strong knowledge and experience with the common data science tech stack, including Python, SQL, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, Transformers, NumPy etc.;

  • General knowledge from traditional ML methods up to generative AI models (LLMs);

  • First professional experiences from prior internships, working student roles or research activities;

  • Proven experience in implementing AI/ML solutions, either from university, professional experience or personal projects (feel free to provide any references, e.g. through GitHub);

  • Interest in and strong affinity with technology and a particular focus on AI/ML;

  • Excellent analytical and technical skills and attention to detail;

  • Great team player and ability to work collaboratively at various levels of the organization;

  • Motivation to work at the intersection of technology, research and business;

  • Self-motivated, proactive, takes ownership and uses initiative;

  • Fluency in English.

Optional requirements:

  • Experience in frontend development, preferably React/TypeScript;

  • Experience with modern cloud data toolsets, preferably Azure;

  • General knowledge about financial markets, preferably private markets;

  • German knowledge.
