Meet The Team:    Within the Data and Enablement (D&E) organization, Enablement Success Team is a new organization responsible for all Technology vendor operations and is the single point of engagement for the performance and improvement of the engineering enablement solutions. The Enablement Success Team achieves their goals through close collaboration with internal groups (Engineering, Enablement, Product and Business Ops) and external partnerships.

What You’ll Do:


We are looking for a seasoned leader that will bring new ideas, optimizations, and best practices for the entire technology organization. As a director, you will work closely with leadership and engineers to deliver the solutions, processes and measurements that support the development of high-quality safety-critical software. Specific areas of focus for Enablement Success may include:

  • Work closely with other departments like engineering, product development, and sales to resolve complex customer issues
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding support performance and challenges
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated support issues.
  • Develop measurements to Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure team effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze failure feedback to identify trends and implement improvements to support processes
  • Establish and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) for support response times and resolution.
  • Develop and implement support strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage support budgets and resource allocation

As a strategic thinker, the Director Engineering is staying on top of latest innovations in the industry and drive new ideas into the organization. He/she is also continuously reviewing internal developments and is proactively resolving roadblocks within his/her organization and beyond

  • Facilitation of processes for the delivery of scalable and high-quality systems products for autonomous driving vehicles and support systems.
  • Collaboration with other management and teams as needed to meet goals, monitor team performance, and achieve objectives.
  • Understanding of the industry best practices in support and partner management
  • Career development and coaching of the team.
  • Selection and performance management of the teams.
  • Continuous performance feedback is being delivered
  • Compensation analysis in close collaboration with peer managers and People Operations.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Ability to be a strategic partner to the organization and identify & plan how to meet future needs of the organization.
  • Expert knowledge and demonstrated leader of support and vendor operations, acting as an advisor to other leaders on relevant trends and emerging issues.
  • Ability to e]effectively manage a team of managers and professionals and identify opportunities to grow and develop the team.
  • Ability to evangelize best practices and promote consistent standards including performance metrics, root cause analysis and CLCA.
  • A customer first mentality: experience leading teams that support products or engineering environments.
  • Develop plans and anticipate the needs for incident response, security and compliance audits.

  • 20+ years Experience within manufacturing environment or support environment
  • 15+ years Experience managing/working through vendors to include contract and performance management
  • 15+ years Leader experience
