Cognitiv is looking for an ambitious Senior Sales Development Representative. The ideal candidate is someone excited to be a key contributor to the sales team and foster long-term relationships with our advertising clients. This is a role designed to lead to a pure sales position and therefore has a blend of both administrative and sales responsibilities. This position will be located in New York City with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office (Mon/Tue/Wed) and 2 days remote (Thursday/Friday).
Responsibilities
Researching, identifying, and qualifying prospective leads for the sales team
Writing persuasive cold outreach emails, sending LinkedIn videos, and social selling
Disciplined follow up process to secure meetings
Collaborate with and support senior sellers to generate new business meetings for their pipeline
Try out new creative and bold experiments to find what resonates with AdTech prospects
Support marketing team with invitations to dinners and other engagements at events
Requirements
2 years of SDR/BDR/TDR experience
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Self-starter and very highly detail-oriented
Great time management skills and ability to adjust quickly in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Ability to embrace being independent, but also highly collaborative
Bold, competitive, loves to win
Not complacent, doing the bare minimum to hit activity metrics
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (highly preferred but not required)
Entrepreneurial minded
Experience in a startup environment and/or a client-facing role
Finds the prospecting and sales process highly fascinating
Familiarity with sales tools: Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesloft, SellerCrowd
Preferred skills: public speaking, time management, ability to learn new technologies & industries quickly
Salary
$72,500-$75,000 + Uncapped Commission and Equity
