This team works on high-impact projects that aim to amplify our global user base and drive the long-term growth of our products through data analysis, value creation, and experimentation. Sales Assist sits within the Growth team — 

The Sales Assist team focuses on driving incremental revenue from Small Businesses. It does this in three ways: first, through sales efforts; second, by providing key insights into our customers; and finally by driving scale and automation.

This team blends working directly with customers and working internally to develop the perfect customer experience.

About the Role

As a Sales Assist Representative, you will manage a high volume of new leads, active prospects, and open opportunities each week. You will be tasked with providing an exceptional customer experience, focusing on sales processes that drive results, and contributing insights that can improve efficiency and automation.

You are expected to be adaptable, moving between experiments and projects to find new avenues for incremental gains. You will be encouraged to question the status quo, push for changes and challenge any assumptions.

You must love working with customers and also challenge orthodoxy on how it is done.

We’re looking for people who have passion for customers, love finding more effective ways to do something and find inspiration in developing exceptional customer experiences.

This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.

In this role, you will:

  • Work directly with OpenAI’s prospects to guide them to the right product

  • Win business with SMB prospects

  • Find ways to automate the sales process

  • Work closely with the Growth team and other cross functional groups to build the right experience for all SMB customers
