Location: San Francisco Bay Area
Reports To: COO
About the Role:
We seek an experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Revenue Operations Analyst to join us as the sole RevOps professional at Unit21. In this critical role, you will be responsible for shaping, executing, and optimizing our revenue and data strategies from the ground up. Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring our go-to-market functions' alignment, efficiency, and data-driven effectiveness, driving measurable growth and operational improvements across the entire customer journey.
This is a unique opportunity to join as the sole RevOps professional and pave your way within a well-established organization, allowing you to shape our revenue and data strategy at a foundational level. This role will be equally responsible for and cater to sales and marketing, explicitly addressing Salesforce gaps in tracking and measurement across the entire funnel.
If you're a hands-on, data-driven operator ready to make a significant impact, we’d love to hear from you!
What you will be doing:
Develop, implement, and refine our end-to-end revenue strategy, focusing on efficient processes that support long-term, scalable growth.
Partner closely with the COO to align revenue operations with company goals and ensure data-driven decision-making.
Provide strategic insights on revenue planning, forecasting, and growth initiatives, supporting executive leadership in prioritizing key revenue opportunities.
Own and improve the lead-to-revenue workflow, designing processes that enhance cross-functional collaboration, accountability, and transparency.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to streamline processes, improve handoff efficiency, and remove friction points in the customer lifecycle.
Establish data hygiene, pipeline management, and lead nurturing standards to drive consistency and optimize conversion rates.
Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time insights into revenue performance, pipeline health, marketing and sales effectiveness, lead velocity, and other key metrics.
Analyze customer data, segment performance, and conversion trends to uncover growth opportunities, cross-sell/upsell, and retention.
Develop data-driven recommendations that guide business strategy and inform investment in future initiatives.
Oversee the configuration and optimization of all RevOps tools, including CRM, marketing automation, and data analytics software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, BI tools).
Evaluate new technologies to enhance our tech stack, ensuring tools are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with strategic needs.
Act as the primary point of contact for system integrations, data integrity, and process automation to ensure accurate, actionable data across all revenue-related platforms.
Define, track, and analyze KPIs that measure and drive revenue growth, identifying trends and presenting insights to leadership.
Conduct custom analyses on sales funnel performance, campaign effectiveness, and customer behavior to continuously refine and optimize strategies.
Prepare and present quarterly business reviews and ad hoc reports for executive leadership, offering actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
What we’re looking for:
5+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a similar role within a B2B SaaS environment.
Strong proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker), as well as support sales systems (Gong, Chilipiper)
Experience with SQL or other data analysis tools; advanced Excel skills are essential.
Proven success in building or optimizing revenue operations processes independently.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly and persuasively to executive leadership.
Compensation:
The standard base pay range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000 Annually. This base pay range does not include variable compensation including potential commissions, bonuses or other financial or equity incentives.
