Overview

Manage financial processes at Core42's AI & GPUaaS division, providing insights into the division's financial performance, developing and maintaining financial models, conducting financial analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will also contribute to budgeting, forecasting, month/year end management, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Core42 is the UAE’s national-scale enabler for cloud and generative AI, combining G42 Group’s expertise across multiple technology disciplines into a single platform for public sector and large enterprise transformations. Responsibilities

Day to Day Operations

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate the performance of our AI & GPUaaS division, identifying areas for improvement, and providing actionable recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with business leaders to develop annual budgets and provide ongoing financial forecasts and assist with pricing/investment evaluation.
• Partner and work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and operations, to understand business requirements and align financial strategies with operational objectives.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and identify deviations.
• Build and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making, including investment analysis, pricing decisions, and profitability assessments.
• Prepare regular financial reports, executive summaries, and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization within the division through analysis of expenses, resource allocation, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and accounting standards, assisting with audits and maintaining accurate financial records.

Budgets and Plans

• Contribute to budget planning and monitor financial performance so that the business is aware of cost and revenue forecasts, areas of underperformance, and opportunities for improvement

Reporting

• Deliver accurate financial information and key financial reporting to senior management including MBR & QBR reporting and presentation.
• Deliver meaningful insight and practical recommendations, in addition to sound financial data analysis, to inform and influence business decisions.

Strategy /Tactical

• Be involved in short- and long-range growth strategies, preparing execution plans to achieve targets.
• Build processes, tools, dashboard to support the business and improve decision making

Continuous Improvement

• Motivate one’s team and identify opportunities to take part in change initiatives, improve finance processes, and undertake programs & projects that reflect international best practices and changes in the competitive environment.

Policies, Processes & Procedures

• Recommend improvements and contribute to the implementation of procedures & controls so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while delivering the highest quality of service to customers.
• Help develop, drive & implement robust finance processes in dynamic & growing company.

Operational Excellence

• Monitor and apply market research, as well as industry best practices and emerging trends that can be applied to Core42

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant finance experience
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Proficient in financial systems and tools, including ERP systems, spreadsheets, and data visualization software
• Experience working in a Technology firm preferred
• Familiarity with Cloud & AI services, & digital transformation solutions,
• Familiarity with international accounting standards and regulation
