The OneDrive Data Science team applies our technical analytical skills, working closely with Product, Engineering, User Research, Design, Marketing and Finance to accelerate and maximize the growth one OneDrive’s Consumer and Commercial user and subscriber bases.
We are a modern product and services organization, one of the largest business & consumer services on the planet, and the second biggest workload in Office 365. Data scientists on this team will be part of the broader data science team, and specific product teams focused on tangible and immediate business impact. We have a tremendous responsibility to our customers to help transform their content needs with Microsoft 365. We use data to organize our business priorities. We empower our industry-leading data science, design, and user research teams to own our product's user experience. We take a direct role in framing our business value directly to our customers and vibrant community of fans.
We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist with a proven track record of deeply understanding complex business problems and using industry-leading analytical techniques to find insights that transform our business and customer experiences.
Ideal candidates should be able to take a business or engineering problem from Product or Engineering leaders, translate it to a Data Science problem, conduct the appropriate analysis & modeling to reveal actionable insights, and then communicate those results to the OneDrive Leadership team to drive change.

Data Science IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
