The Senior AI Strategy Partner will serve as a thought-leader for Flutter Technology, playing a lead role in shaping our strategic direction, and general democratization, of AI technologies.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE SENIOR STRATEGY PARTNER ROLE:
To serve as an AI thought leader for Flutter Technology, providing coaching, mentoring an advisory to help advance the AI capabilities across the team.
To partner with stakeholders across Flutter Technology and our global technology community to:
Shape Flutter Technology’s strategic direction for AI
Identify and prioritize opportunities
Contribute to the development, prototyping and application of AI solutions to solve real-world business problems
Establish a fit-for-purpose operating model that enables effective scaling of AI solutions to create value across the Group.
To own the analysis of end-to-end complex solutions, including making recommendations on critical decisions.
To facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs and options to be progressed during the lifecycle of major strategic change.
To communicate effectively to ensure expectations, outcomes and impacts of strategic initiatives are clear and consistently understood.
To produce high quality, Executive-Committee ready, outputs, proposals, and status updates.
To develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders across technology at Flutter, including members of the Global Technology Community.
To lead strategic initiatives, as required, ensuring outcomes are aligned to the strategic priorities of the business, delivery is consistent and predictable, and resource allocation is optimized.
To lead by example and foster an organizational culture that embraces change and continuous improvement, while serving as a role model in the promotion of the Group’s position on responsible gambling, sustainability, and DE&I.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience of operating within a fast-paced global online/eCommerce organization, ideally one with a multi-divisional structure, is desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a style that can flex according to the audience; excellent storytelling ability with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Excellent creative thinking ability, able to look at alternatives and consider new ways of thinking to solve problems.
Experience of:
AI systems, tools and techniques, i.e., machine learning, deep learning, NLP, neural nets, computer vision
AI ethics, including bias mitigation
Machine learning algorithms [i.e., Supervised/Unsupervised Learning, Deep Learning]
Data processing and AI frameworks
Cloud computing
High-performance computing
Academic background in computer science, mathematics, statistics or related, is preferred.
