What you'll do...

As part of the Walmart Emerging Technology Team you will help reshape how we engage with the world around us through Conversational AI.  Walmart’s opportunities using conversational AI that span all parts of the customer journey. You will help us to build next generation of products and grow our conversational AI platform.  You will - create strategy and alignment around Walmart’s conversational AI platform and its product roadmap, operate as a leader to foster collaboration between engineering/design/various other product teams, evangelize the latest and greatest technology trends in NLP and GenAI.

What you'll do:

  • Deeply understand customer needs and industry innovation to drive the product vision and strategy for Conversational AI, maximizing business and user impact.
  • Develop and drive the product roadmap for the Conversational AI Experience, aligning with company goals and user needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to build AI-powered features and improvements, leveraging your technical background to drive the power of GenAI across Walmart.
  • Partner closely with senior management and stakeholders to define and align on vision, strategy, and roadmaps, ensuring effective communication and alignment of expectations.
  • Foster a metrics-driven environment that encourages quality experimentation and sets high standards for measuring product success.
  • Stay informed about industry advancements, conduct comprehensive buy vs. build analysis, and influence their direction to align with state-of-the-art solutions, encouraging ROI-based decisions.
  • Create continuous feedback loops with Walmart customers and development teams to ensure we solve the right problems and drive maximum impact.
  • Exhibit robust problem-solving and decision-making skills, tackling technical and strategic challenges in innovative ways and leveraging data and intuition to make strategic choices in the face of ambiguity and complexity.
  • Ensure thoughtful product evolution that addresses the product lifecycle and adoption experience.
  • Help evolve our engagement model, communication strategy, prioritization, and planning/road-mapping practices to enhance the overall conversational AI experience.


What you'll bring:

  • 9+ years' experience as a product manager 
  • Masters/Bachelor's degree in a STEM field 
  • Track record of creating strategic roadmap, deployment of robust and scalable AI/ML/Data Science solutions and products 
  • Self-starter with a strong attention to detail and an ability to deal with ambiguity 
  • Strong background with AI/ML technologies and conversational experiences. 
  • GenAI product development experience is preferred. 
  • Data-driven decision-making skills 
  • Customer obsession and the ability to develop solutions that delight them 
  • Comfortable working with software engineers to develop scalable solutions 
  • Experience working with UX designers to create intuitive experiences 
  • Experience in process design  
  • Comfortable with engaging with various stakeholders of varying levels across multiple domains 
  • Organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity 
  • Stimulated by challenges and ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00
