Job Description

ThinkBait, the innovative marketing hub for Neilson Financial Services, needs a Paid Social Media Designer (Marketing Focus, AI-Enhanced) to create large volumes of impactful static ads while also applying fundamental market psychology to every concept. By using advanced AI tools, you’ll rapidly ideate, produce, and refine direct response content for life insurance campaigns. As a key contributor to our growth, you’ll help test and optimize new ad formats for paid social, ensuring high engagement and quick rollout of creative assets. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Static Ad Production: Efficiently design static ads for life insurance DTC campaigns, focusing on quick turnaround and conversion-focused visuals. 

  • Market Psychology & Strategy: Incorporate an understanding of buyer behavior, thumb-stopping techniques, and funnel dynamics to lower CPAs. 

  • AI Utilization: Employ AI tools (e.g., Photoshop Generative Fill, MidJourney) to speed up design creation and idea generation. 

  • Data-Informed Iteration: Adjust creatives based on campaign performance metrics and feedback, proposing new variants to optimize results. 

  • Collaborative Innovation: Work with marketing and performance teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective campaign rollouts. 

  • Optional Video/GIF Editing: Basic familiarity with Premiere Pro or similar tools for simple animated elements is advantageous. 

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years in performance or direct response design, ideally within regulated industries (finance, fintech, insurance). 

  • Software Proficiency: Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator; Premiere Pro is a plus. 

  • AI & Automation: Experience using AI-driven design techniques for faster and more creative outputs. 

  • Strategic Mindset: Basic marketing knowledge—such as funnel stages and consumer psychology—to inform design decisions. 

  • Agility & Collaboration: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, open to feedback, and collaborative with cross-functional teams.
