We are seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to join our team to maintain and increase the efficiency of global marketing campaigns, reporting and analytics, optimize marketing systems, and keep data clean.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, digital, and field marketing; RevOps and sales; and customer support to develop and deliver innovative regional and global campaigns and programs for our target market throughout the world.

We’re a small Marketing Ops team, so the ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades. You will have a lot of autonomy and opportunity to own your scope, make an impact, and drive change.

You’ll report to the Director of Marketing Operations who’s seen and done it all before, and will give you plenty of space and opportunities to both demonstrate your skills and expertise as well as learn and grow.

Responsibilities

Campaign Ops (40%)

  • Support our Field Marketing team in executing live and virtual events, with a focus on ensuring leads are routed to the right BDRs or AEs accurately and efficiently.
  • Support marketers in sending email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Demand Gen, Lifecycle, and Email Marketing in creating personalized nurture programs.
  • Support our global sales organization with executing campaigns and events.
  • Use middleware such as Zapier and/or Workato to execute campaign-related tasks when required.

Platform Ops (35%)

  • Be the primary administrator for key marketing-owned system, including HubSpot, Clearbit, WordPress, Confluence, and of course the full suite of CHEQ products.
  • Define and document conventions, best practices, and processes, enabling end-users to operate independently wherever possible.
  • Participate in the development roadmap of operational programs like scoring, data quality, compliance, lead management, etc.

Insights / Data Quality Ops (25%)

  • Monitor and manage our HubSpot/Salesforce sync, identifying and resolving errors and issues.
  • Be a champion of data quality. Ensure data is clean and normalized, duplicates are minimized, leads and accounts behave with each other, and attribution data is populated consistently.
  • Use Salesforce, and on occasion Tableau, to create ad-hoc reports and dashboards to support marketers in understanding performance.

Requirements

Experience / Technical Skills:

  • 2-4 years of experience in HubSpot or Marketo executing campaigns and developing operational systems.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • A strong grasp of MOPs and revenue technology in general, and familiarity with more technical concepts like APIs.
  • Understanding of B2B sales processes (lead routing, BDR qualification, etc.).
  • Knowledge of and experience with HTML/CSS for email marketing.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive results.
  • HubSpot Marketing Software certified and/or Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) preferred.
  • Experience with Zapier and/or Workato is an asset.
  • Knowledge of and experience with WordPress website maintenance and upkeep, as well as Web Hosting Platform management, preferred.

Soft Skills:

At the same time, you are not afraid to ask for help when you’re really stuck.
