Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Governance Manager who will play critical role in ensuring compliance with UAE and international regulations, developing IT governance frameworks, and managing the IT and Security Risk Governance Committee to interpret data and provide insights that drive key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement IT governance frameworks and procedures in line with organizational objectives.
· Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, international regulations, and ISO standards.
· Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate IT and security risks.
· Develop and maintain compliance documentation and reports.
· Coordinate with different IT departments and business units to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
· Facilitate IT governance training and awareness programs for employees.
· Manage the process of technology selection, customization, and deployment.
· Report on IT governance performance to senior management and stakeholders.
· Setting Up and Running IT and Security Risk Governance Committee:
o Establish the IT and Security Risk Governance Committee, defining its purpose, scope, and objectives.
o Develop a charter for the committee, outlining roles, responsibilities, and meeting schedules.
o Ensure representation from key stakeholders, including IT, security, legal, and business units.
o Facilitate regular committee meetings to review and address IT and security risks.
o Develop and implement risk management processes and controls.
o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies.
o Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of IT and security risks.
· Migration and Digital Transformation Responsibilities:
o Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards during IT system migrations and digital transformation projects.
o Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management plans for migration projects.
o Collaborate with international teams to address region-specific regulatory requirements.
o Develop and implement governance frameworks for new digital initiatives.
· KPIs:
o High compliance rate with UAE and international regulations and ISO standards.
o Reduction in IT and security risks through effective governance and risk management.
o Successful establishment and operation of the IT and Security Risk Governance Committee.
o Efficient and secure migration of IT systems and data.
o High performance and satisfaction levels within the IT and security teams.
· Offshore and International Considerations:
o Ensure consistent IT governance and risk management practices across all locations.
o Provide training and support to offshore teams on regulatory requirements and governance frameworks.
o Monitor and address region-specific challenges related to IT governance and compliance.
o Implement secure and efficient communication channels for collaboration with international teams
· Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans, and related risk assessments.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
o Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
o 7-10 years in IT governance, risk management, and compliance roles, with a strong focus on UAE regulations, international regulations, and ISO standards.
o Proven experience in setting up and running IT and Security Risk Governance Committees.
Certification:
o Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or equivalent.
Skills:
· In-depth knowledge of UAE data protection laws, international regulations (e.g., GDPR), and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
· Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT and ITIL.
· Experience with risk management, compliance, and audit processes.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively with international and offshore teams
