The Deliveries Analytics team is the analytics and data powerhouse behind Grab’s fastest-growing segments: GrabFood, GrabMart. Here, innovation meets action. As a pivotal member of our team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to collaborate across disciplines (Product, Business, Engineering, Design, Data Science) to transform data into dynamic solutions. Your insights will directly contribute to developing groundbreaking products and initiatives, setting new benchmarks for excellence. The Day-to-Day Activities

  • Innovate: Propose cutting-edge product ideas by diving deep into data, addressing the most pressing customer challenges.
  • Illuminate: Use your mastery of data to uncover trends, decode anomalies, and tell compelling stories that inspire action.
  • Influence: Collaborate with stakeholders to define key metrics and design experiments that shape the future of our products.
  • Impact: Drive significant improvements across our platforms, enhancing user experience, and contributing to our mission of excellence.

Qualifications

The Must-Haves

  • Experience: 6+ years in data-related or quantitative fields, ideally within D2C or B2C context such as Marketplaces, ECommerce, OmniCommerce, Retail Marketing Analytics, etc. We're looking for someone who's not just participated but thrived in these environments.
  • Analytical Thinking: Use analysis techniques to drive outcomes for large and complex projects that changes the thinking about the business.
  • Ability to Problem Solve: Help solve complex problems, narrowing down multiple options into the best approach, and take ownership of open-ended ambiguous business problems. Propose novel solutions that go beyond common practice
  • Dealing with Ambiguity: You should be open-minded and flexible to feedback and changes in direction based on the needs of the team and business. You should also demonstrate a high level of professionalism and clarity when communicating the team's limitations, ensuring that everyone involved understands the constraints and their implications.
  • Leading through Influence: You should be able influence across your team and cross-functional teams. You should also be able to effectively convince senior stakeholders. 
  • Storyteller & Data Visualization Maestro: Exceptional skills in data visualization and storytelling. You should be adept at creating intuitive and impactful dashboards using PowerBI or Tableau. 
  • Communicator: Strong communication skills enable you to document solutions clearly and effectively for the team and stakeholders at various levels. Building trust and fostering collaborative relationships come naturally to you
  • Technical Proficiency: Fluent in SQL, Python, R, or other scripting/programming languages, you're a problem-solver at heart. Your comfort with very large datasets and complex ETL processes sets you apart.
  • Taking Initiative: You're known for moving initiatives forward, tackling blockers, and managing ambiguity proactively. 
  • Independence: Capable of tackling tough analytical problems independently with minimal guidance, you're driven by integrity and the desire to make impactful decisions.
