Role reports to:  Associate Director, Advanced Analytics

 

Location: Kenvues corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.

 

Travel: 10%

 

Pay: Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $110,000 to $192,050. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.

The Senior Data Scientist will be a part of the North America Data Science team in the Consumer Business Intelligence department. This is a hands-on role responsible for building and adapting transformational ML and AI algorithms to enable outstanding omnichannel communications for Health Care Professionals (HCPs), as well as exploring various national and retail media optimization opportunities.

 

You will have a direct impact on ROI for HCP investments in North America and globally by enabling robust data-driven marketing and relevant communications. You will also join an exciting journey to integrate large language models (LLMs) into marketing applications.

 

This role requires strong collaborative partnerships with multiple functions, including Technology, Consumer & Business Insights, Brand Managers, and various suppliers. You will also collaborate with Data Scientists in other markets and an offshore ML operations team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Collaboration and Business Impact

  • Work with the business to identify and prioritize data science-driven opportunities.
  • Translate data and model results into actionable insights that drive better decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to guide and review modeling efforts.

 

Model Development and Deployment

  • Build, test, validate, and deploy machine learning algorithms and data mining strategies to optimize omnichannel communications for HCPs and media/advertising applications.
  • Partner with data engineers and visualization specialists to create visualization applications for driving product adoption.

 

Ongoing Analysis and Quality Assurance

  • Perform exploratory data analyses and maintain robust quality checks.
  • Continuously monitor and refine deployed models to ensure business relevance and accuracy.

Qualifications

 

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Advanced degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, or applied science.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in analytics, data mining, and machine learning modeling.
  • Experience with HCP data, CRM analytics, online media, and the adtech ecosystem is preferred.

 

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Working knowledge of relational database management systems.
  • Familiarity with advanced tools such as Apache Spark, sparkML, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, XGBoost, Tidyverse, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs and their applications in marketing.

 

Soft Skills & Attributes

  • Strong business acumen and a passion for staying updated with analytics and technology trends.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with and present to internal and external partners.
