Head Data and AI SalesJob Description
The Head: Data and AI Sales will lead a team of highly motivated and experienced Data sales specialists. The purpose of this team is to partner with our customers to ensure they leverage their investments in their data tools and solutions and help them maximize the opportunities that these tools present their business, accelerating their growth and helping them compete more effectively in the market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales team management, inclusive of recruitment, performance management, training, coaching and day-to-day management activities
Work hand in hand with the solution sellers and the KAMs, where relevant, in client engagements and execute against the account plans assisting in removing internal blockers and getting things done
Design and implement a strategic business growth plan that expands the opportunity within the customer base, ensures a strong market presence and achieve financial targets in line with the Altron Digital Business best practice processes and tools
Build and grow relationships with executive decision makers in key and strategic clients, assisting and coaching the solution sellers and KAMs through the process
Partner with Commercial and Bid Management to deliver world class bids to our customers
Reporting to the business in line with the business rhythm as defined by the Sales Execution function
Partner with the Sales Execution function in the areas of sales enablement, strategic reporting and the target and quota setting process to ensure we are running a world class sales organisation
Conduct win/loss reviews in respect of proposals/tender responses
Achieve growth and sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
Become an expert in the Data market one that is a trusted advisor to or customers
Be the go-to person for strategic planning and growth discussions in the Data space and partner closely with Microsoft to deliver value to our customers.

Educational Qualifications:
Business degree or related
Years of Experience:
Minimum of 5 years Sales or Sales leadership experience
Other requirements:
Deep experience in Data or Sales Management areas and a proven track record in closing large, complex deals
Previous Sales leadership or virtual team leadership
Deep relationships with customers segmented into the area of responsibility
Solid understanding of digital sales platforms and use of the Microsoft CE toolsets
Strong business acumen
Proven track record of building and growing customer relationships and revenue within a customer
Proven track record of achieving and/or exceeding financial targets.
