About the role - you will:
Work closely with mentors to develop automated root cause analysis solutions for drift anomalies in complex hard drive manufacturing processes
Assist in the design and development of advanced root cause analysis (RCA) techniques tailored for tabular and time series datasets based on Bayesian Statistics framework
Evaluate the effectiveness of using Bayesian Networks and Causal Discovery as RCA tools and clarify the differences between these techniques. Utilize probabilistic programming to estimate uncertainty intervals for the parameters of interest
Refine and optimize the techniques to meet production deployment requirements, focusing on practical constraints such as the need to process millions of records in batch mode using reasonable computing resources
About you:

Your experience includes:
Currently pursuing a doctoral, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science and Engineering, or a related field
Proficient in Python or R, with experience using probabilistic programming libraries such as PyMC and similar tools
Experience with data science and AI technologies through past projects is a plus

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees. Here, our team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finished drives.
