About the role
We’re hiring a sharp, ambitious, and AI-native Commercial Strategy & Operations Manager to join our team. You’ll be on the ground floor of our go-to-market motion, helping scale commercial operations, drive strategic deals, and build the operational infrastructure that powers growth.
You will be the connective tissue between strategy, execution, and scale. You’ll work directly with our Commercial Leader and CTO to drive deals forward, develop scalable processes, and turn complex custom work into repeatable GTM patterns.
You’ll apply the same AI-forward principles that underpin our client work to how we operate internally and build a commercial engine that scales.

What you’ll do:
Directly Drive Revenue on Live Deals
Support high-impact deals from discovery to close - participating in sales calls, shaping proposals, and refining our positioning.
Collaborate with our Commercial Leader and CTO to design and communicate custom solutions for enterprise clients.
Develop compelling narratives for why and when clients should work with Fractional AI.
Pattern-match across opportunities and define who are the targets that we should be pursuing
Build Commercial Systems & Workflows
Design and maintain templates, collateral, and workflows to streamline how we sell and kick-off projects. Think strategically about how this looks different across client archetypes.
Improve upon and maintain internal systems for tracking deal flow, delivery milestones, client impact, and partnerships.
Create repeatable artifacts and collaborate with Marketing to make our go-to-market motion more efficient.
Set up and evolve tooling and automation across commercial functions.
Develop systems to optimally share information and collect input across the rest of the company.
Be a High Utility Player
As a fast-growing early-stage company, exciting growth opportunities arise all the time. You will be a versatile problem solver that can jump into any workstream (e.g., M&A, conference strategy) and make immediate impact
What you bring to the table:
2-5 years in an analytical, operational, or client-facing role (e.g., consulting, start-up operator). Bonus points if you have worked in Generative AI or in the Private Equity ecosystem.
Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal - you can build crisp decks, write clear emails, and communicate to engineers and execs.
AI-native: You are passionate about applying genAI to real problems and have a high proficiency of using AI in your personal and professional life
Comfortable with ambiguity and high ownership - you move fast and figure it out.
High horsepower: You’re hungry, scrappy, and have a strong bias for execution.
Low ego/high resourcefulness. You are doer, not an armchair strategist. You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves, and you’re resilient when things get tough.

You've worked with our Commercial Leader on a deal that we won and played a role in making that happen.
You’ve shaped at least one proposal and custom solutioning presentation.
You’ve created (or improved) core GTM templates.
You've come up with an initial set of recommendations for ways to improve and make more efficient our sales processes.
