The Strategy, Analytics & Operations team partners with the Security Technology Group to create customer-focused security solutions. Their work enhances business insights and influences product strategy across teams. The objective is to support efficient, informed, and data-driven decision-making at Akamai.

You will collaborate with Akamai leaders to address needs and support programmes. Responsibilities include identifying solutions, engaging stakeholders, and overseeing planning, development, implementation, and enablement.

As a Program Manager Senior Strategy & Operations, you will be responsible for:

• Driving from problem statement to potential solution options using business insight, industry best practices, and stakeholder input
• Collaborating with stakeholders, planning requirements, managing schedules, identifying risks, and communicating with cross-functional partners.
• Coordinating participants across locations, ensuring updates on progress and deadlines across offices and time zones.
• Developing successful partnerships with Engineering, Product and Program stakeholders across the organization
• Collaborating with operational teams on processes and improvements to enhance efficiency and achieve greater clarity.
• Creating and delivering executive-facing presentations that provide full context to all audiences
• Communicating program status and expectation changes to senior leaders with appropriate frequency using standardized methods

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
• Have good analytical and troubleshooting skills while managing tasks with incomplete information.
• Demonstrate observability and monitoring expertise, including adherence to SLOs.
• Excel in minimising toil through automation utilising Python, Golang, and scripting languages.
• Utilise Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and Linux; familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes considered valuable.
