Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Team Lead - Field Sales to lead and grow our sales efforts in Bangalore.In this role, you will be responsible for both managing a team of 4-5 field sales executives and directly contributing to revenue generation through individual sales efforts, primarily focused on acquiring SME and MSME clients. You will play a crucial role in expanding Interakt's market share and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a high-performing team of 4-5 field sales executives.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and exceed expectations.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Individual Sales Contribution:
Directly contribute to revenue generation by actively prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals within the SME and MSME segment.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans to achieve individual sales targets.
Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
Negotiate and close deals with key decision-makers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients within the SME and MSME segment.
Market Development:
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new market opportunities within the SME and MSME segment.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product offerings and services tailored to SME and MSME needs.
Represent Interakt at industry events and conferences focused on the SME and MSME sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and influencers within the SME and MSME ecosystem.
Sales Reporting & Analysis:
Track and analyze key sales metrics, including revenue, conversion rates, and customer churn.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
Utilize data and insights to optimize sales performance and identify areas for improvement within the SME and MSME segment.
Customer Success:
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
Build long-term customer relationships through regular communication and proactive support.
Qualifications:
Proven experience: 5+ years of experience in field sales roles, with at least 2 years in a sales leadership position, preferably in the SaaS/technology industry.
Team management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
Individual sales excellence: Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding individual sales targets, with a strong focus on acquiring SME and MSME clients.
Communication & interpersonal skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Market knowledge: Strong understanding of the local market and competitive landscape within the SME and MSME segment.
Results-oriented: Highly motivated and driven to achieve ambitious sales targets.
Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and solve problems effectively and creatively.
Technical aptitude: Basic understanding of technology and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
