We are looking for the best As a SLAM engineer at 42dot, you will contribute advanced autonomous driving technologies. Utilizing sophisticated geometric vision techniques, you will process various visual and sensor data acquired from autonomous vehicles to accurately determine the vehicle's current location and surrounding structures. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams at 42dot that employ computer vision and robotics technologies.
Responsibilities
Develop state-of-the-art localization, mapping and calibration algorithms to enhance autonomous driving technology.
Design and validate online and offline state estimation algorithms by fusing sensor data such as cameras, IMUs, and so on.
Focus on 3D geometry aspects such as VSLAM, VIO, and SfM.
Develop algorithms for motion estimation, matching, and tracking in 3D environments.
Implement non-linear optimization techniques to improve algorithm performance.
Lead efforts in sensor calibration to ensure accurate perception capabilities for autonomous vehicles.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of work experience
Master's or PhD degree, or equivalent experience, in computer vision, robotics, or a related field
Theoretical and practical knowledge in robotics and computer vision
Production-level programming skills in modern C++
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in research and development related to autonomous driving and robotics
Development experience using various sensors such as GPS, IMU, and cameras
Experience in developing VR/AR applications
Experience in parallel programming and system optimization
