Decagon is looking for our First Sales Engineer, a critical early hire who will help shape the future of our AI-powered solutions in the enterprise space. You'll be a key partner to the sales team, helping to drive technical pre-sales engagement, provide in-depth product expertise, and bridge the gap between customer needs and our technology. You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure that our solutions are positioned effectively, align with customer requirements, and drive adoption of Decagon's products.
5-7 years of customer facing experience in a sales engineering (pre-sales) role
Partner with Account Executives to discover and qualify solutions that lead to strong return on investment for your customer
Develop custom demonstrations using the Decagon platform tailored to a customer’s specific needs and value
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Business understanding of GTM sales teams and processes.
1+ years of AI sales engineering experience
