We are looking for a Senior Sales Planner to develop media plans and strategic proposals that meet clients’ objectives and KPIs. The Sales Planner will be a liaison between the advertiser and partner with internal teams  to generate ideas and concepts that meet clients’ needs. 
This position will be located in New York City with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office (Mon/Tue/Wed) and 2 days remote (Thursday/Friday).

Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the Sales team to understand client objectives and needs
  • Collaborate with support teams (i.e client success, product, data science, marketing etc) on RFP responses, proactive proposal development, pitch materials, selling new business and upselling existing clients
  • Develop strong understanding of Cognitiv products
  • Manage pre-sales internal and external processes
  • Own the RFP process for the sales and client success teams and identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures
  • Develop and support client facing strategic materials
  • Utilize analytics to set benchmarks, refine strategy & define success
  • Develop internal relationships and effectively communicate program details to internal operation teams
  • Handle transition from pre to post campaign by implementing kick-off calls

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred but not required: Marketing, Business, Sales, Technology Related)
  • 4+ years of experience in sales planning and RFP management
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task and function well under pressure and tight delivery timeframes
  • 1-3 years’ experience in agency or publisher environment with sales planning  or client services responsibilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledgeable of the latest digital advertising trends and online media
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • Possess strong analytical skills; ability to inspect, analyze, and influence using data

Salary

  • $100,000-$130,00 Base Salary + Equity
