Twitch is all about community, and our Community Team is a core pillar of what makes Twitch, Twitch. Teams within Community are responsible for a myriad of product areas impacting the creator, viewer, and moderator journeys on our platform. As a member of our team, you'll help build solutions that improve the experience of millions of daily active users on our platform and create tools that keep both streamers and viewers engaged and connected.
Data is central to Twitch's decision-making process, and data scientists are critical in evangelizing data-driven decision making across all our operations. As a data science manager at Twitch, you will work on the ground floor with your team, shaping how product performance is measured, defining which questions should be asked, and scaling analytics methods and tools to support our growing business, leading the way for high-quality, high-velocity decisions for your team.
For this role, we're looking for an experienced product data science manager to lead a data science team focused on developing strategy and evaluating/improving product initiatives within our Community Product organization. Community Product organizations develop tools across various platforms for creators and viewers, as well as strengthening our recommendation system. Your team will be responsible for defining and tracking KPIs, designing experiments, evaluating A/B tests, implementing data instrumentation, and informing investment decisions. Our ideal candidate is a "full-stack" data powerhouse who uses data to drive decision making to create the best products for our creators and their communities. You will work closely with engineers, applied scientists, designers, UXR, and product managers. You'll elevate the understanding and capabilities of cross-functional stakeholders and guide them toward better decision making from the available data.
