We are looking for a Senior Corporate Paralegal to join our legal team as the first paralegal hire! In this role, you will report to the Head of Corporate Legal and provide critical support to the legal department and be responsible for a wide range of corporate legal tasks. Corporate entity governance and maintenance for domestic and foreign entities
Prepare board materials, written consents, resolutions, certifications, minutes, and other corporate documentation
Assist with legal aspects of special projects, including financings, real estate, insurance, and M&A: transactions documents, due diligence, and ongoing obligations.
Support compliance function, including maintaining policy database and providing guidance on legal processes and procedures
Support the drafting and maintenance of employment-related documents
Conduct legal research and benchmarking
Respond to internal and external legal inquiries (e.g., vendor KYC)
Work with other members of the legal team and as well as other company functional departments on special initiatives
Provide operational support to the legal team (e.g., manage legal subscriptions)
Minimum of five years of corporate paralegal experience in a law firm or technology company, with a broad scope of practice: corporate governance, securities, employment, and strategic transactions
Registered notary
Bachelor’s degree (paralegal certificate is a plus)
Self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Reliable problem solver who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities with a service-oriented attitude
Team-focused and collaborative work style; willingness to build expertise and solve new challenges in an evolving practice
Plus: Experience with employee equity and cap table management software (e.g., Carta) or willingness to learn
