Role Overview:

Consulting Project Manager leads diverse multi-disciplined teams to deliver Client’s Tech.’s transformational solutions to Enterprise Customers; can be counted on to execute successfully; is bottom-line oriented; steadfastly pushes self and others for results. He/She is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers; gets first hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; making customers and their needs a paramount focus of engagement actions; takes ownership and is committed; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect. The PM cultivates a collaborative medium, working with Sales, Partners, Vendors and Customer Support to drive engagement success throughout the lifecycle of challenging projects. Our colleague inspires and motivates his/her team, leads through change and adversity, makes the tough call when needed, builds consensus when appropriate, motivates and encourages others. 

Key Responsibilities: 

(Project Management)

  • Lead team during project lifecycle; provide project management, leadership and oversight to project and/or work streams. Provide performance feedback to management and team members. 
  • Prepares detailed project plans of an engagement within the standards of project management methodologies. Reviews and validates statement of work (SOW). Categorizes requirements into a project plan detailing schedules, controls, resources, costs and daily tasks. Prepare risk and remediation plan. Responsible for creating one team approach, goals and milestones within a project to ensure the Client’s Tech.'s commitments to the customer are achieved. Adheres to established standards, processes, and methods to produce solutions that conform to requirements. Strives for, maintains and further develops excellence in processes and services. 
  • Establishes project governance. Responsible for the delivery and daily management of activities, which are coordinated with the Client’s Tech. employees or Partner Resources. Works with Resource Management on project staffing. Accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the customer and sales. Holds responsibility for achieving the Client’s Tech. Bar of Excellence as the highest level of Customer Satisfaction. 
  • Controls the financial compliance. Completes weekly and quarterly forecasts of revenue and utilization. Prepares estimated time to complete, manages back-log. Manages the cost budget and the impact of change requests on cost budget. Responsible for correct invoicing. Follows and executes  the Client’s Tech.'s revenue recognition rules and policies. 
  • Responsible for Quality Assurance; ensure project is delivered to scope defined within SOW and ensure any deviations are processed via defined Change Control process. Participates in customer discussions regarding budget, risk and impact of changes. Communicates to all  the Client’s Tech. concerned parties any existing or potential customer escalation issues. Proactively follows the  the Client’sl Tech. escalation and change control process. 
  • Articulates the full value of The Client’s Tech. Solutions and Tech. Services business benefit to the customer. Keeps eyes open on potential future opportunities at the customers' and communicates to sales as appropriate. 
  • Stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars. Complete and maintain industry recognized project management certification. Complete quarterly accreditations. 

(Operations Management) 

  • Lead Operations for the practice.
  • Deliver significant amount of reports (in excel and PPT) for operational activities.
  • Ability to deliver presentations and work with numbers to generate outcomes. 
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders at regular intervals.
  • Follow up on active Open items and bring them to closure. 
  • Activity tracking and Number crunching to ensure weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly closures 
  • Improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Business Informatics
  • 5-10+ years of Project Management experience
  • Expertise on excel and ppt (Expert Level)
  • Successfully leading the delivery of projects in one or more of the following Consulting technologies – Gen AI, DC Migrations, Cloud Solutions, Virtualization, Re-platforming, IT Operating Models, Workload Modernization
  • Customer Oriented and advanced problem-solving skills
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Financial and analytical experience
  • Proven Risk-Management ability
  • Experienced in subcontractor/partner Control
  • Capable of leading through other PMs
  • Ability to work in Multiple timezones
