Company Description

At KPN, we believe in the power of technology to securely connect people to a sustainable world. Within our Network department, the Network Services unit delivers cutting-edge telecom infrastructure and cloud services — and at the heart of this transformation is our AI & Data team.

We develop smart, high-impact AI and data products that keep our networks reliable, efficient, and future-ready. From Assurance to Fulfillment and Inventory, our solutions are critical to maintaining the quality and availability of the services our customers rely on every day.

If you're excited about using AI to make complex operations smarter — and want to work in an environment where your ideas can make a real difference — this is your chance to lead the way.

Job Description

Join us in shaping the future of telecom as we build toward an autonomous network. In this role, you’ll drive the development of AI & Data products that automate and optimize critical network operations. You’ll work closely with an external strategic partner and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery, performance, and long-term impact. This is a unique opportunity to lead at the intersection of AI innovation, network operations, and agile product delivery.

We’re looking for someone who will surprise us every day — with new ideas, fresh insights, and smart ways AI and data can make our work more efficient, our lives easier, and our performance stronger.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for AI & Data solutions supporting operational processes like Assurance, Fulfillment, and Inventory

  • Lead the collaboration with our external strategic partner, including contract shaping, performance monitoring (KPIs/SLAs), and cross-team alignment

  • Translate business needs into clear priorities and steer delivery across agile DevOps teams using a build–configure–run model

  • Develop and manage operational plans, including an annual plan and a rolling 6-quarter roadmap linked to strategic objectives

  • Ensure product quality and continuity, proactively resolving issues and managing risks tied to service levels and delivery

  • Align stakeholders across business and IT, acting as the central point of contact for product decisions, priorities, and value realization

Qualifications

You are a strategic product manager with a proven track record in technology-driven, complex organizations. With at least 3 years of hands-on experience in AI and data-heavy environments, you know how to turn complex business needs into high-impact, data-driven solutions. You combine product vision, technical fluency, and stakeholder management to drive end-to-end product success — from roadmap to delivery.

You bring:

  • Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in operational or IT service environments (e.g. Assurance, Fulfillment, Inventory)

  • 3+ years of experience working with AI and data-intensive products, with the ability to connect business value to technical possibilities

  • Strong product management skills, including roadmap ownership, backlog prioritization, and lifecycle management in agile/DevOps settings

  • Proven ability to manage strategic technology partnerships, supplier contracts (SLAs, SoWs), and complex stakeholder landscapes

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills to align teams across business and tech

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. AI, Computer Science, Data Engineering) and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
