Position Summary:

Foundation AI is seeking an Operational Product Manager to join our dynamic team. This role bridges product development and project execution, ensuring seamless delivery of innovative solutions tailored to the personal injury legal tech market. The ideal candidate has a strong blend of strategic thinking, technical know-how, and operational expertise, coupled with an understanding of the unique challenges in legal technology.

In particular, this role will lead integration initiatives with external strategic partners and vendor solutions, the product release management process, and other innovative product initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic goals. This role involves leveraging expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum) and Six Sigma principles, while managing the product development lifecycle, driving cross-team collaboration to deliver on financial targets and ensuring strategic alignment of partner capabilities with business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of product/technical acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to execute initiatives in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will also be able to successfully work in a remote environment, since our US team is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product and Project Management:
    • Define and manage the product development and operational projects for third-party integrations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization through implementation, maintenance, and improvement.
    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
    • Utilize Six Sigma and Scrum methodologies to optimize project delivery, reduce waste, and improve integration outcomes.
    • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products by managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
       
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure cohesive product strategies.
    • Act as a bridge between technical and business teams, translating technical capabilities into business opportunities.
    • Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
    • Facilitate cross-departmental workshops and stand-ups to prioritize deliverables and resolve bottlenecks.
       
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Manage project resources and coordinate with stakeholders to mitigate risks and resolve bottlenecks.
    • Advocate for customer needs throughout the product development process.
       
  • Performance Metrics and Analysis:
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
    • Analyze product performance and market reception, providing insights for continuous improvement.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field
    • 5+ years of experience in product management, project management, vendor management, and/or strategic partnerships, preferably in the legal tech industry
    • Proven expertise in Scrum, PMP and Six Sigma methodologies
    • Certification in Scrum (e.g., CSM, CSPO) and Six Sigma (Yellow Belt or higher)
    • Familiarity with legal technology solutions (e.g., practice management systems) is a plus.
       
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Excellent project management skills with experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
    • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills for managing product development relationships and cross-functional collaboration
    • Expertise with Jira and Confluence
    • Strong understanding of product development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
    • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
    • Familiarity with APIs, integration platforms, or middleware solutions
    • Proven track record of successful product launches
    • Experience in managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing tactically
