Job Title: AI Machine Learning Engineer

Overview:The AI/Machine Learning Operator is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and enhancing deployed machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) systems. This role serves as a bridge between data science teams, IT, and end users to ensure models operate efficiently and deliver ongoing value. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in both development and operations, ensuring continuous improvement and scalability of AI/ML solutions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the performance of all deployed ML and AI models and systems
• Collaborate with data scientists and IT to re-train, update, and enhance models
• Gather and interpret user feedback and feature requests to inform improvements
• Maintain a roadmap of enhancements and upcoming features
• Ensure models are optimized, scalable, and aligned with business needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

• Strong experience with ML/AI development and deployment

• Proficiency in Python and a Linux-based environment

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms for running ML workloads

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration

• Understanding of data engineering workflows and databases (relational and NoSQL)

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to translate user needs into technical solutions
