We are hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead test strategy and automation at FactCheck in a hybrid role based in Mumbai (Parel).

Requirements

• 5 yrs+ SDET/automation (2 yrs architecting frameworks)

• JS/TS test tooling mastery; solid CI/CD chops

• Web3 basics: Solidity + property tests

• Comfortable across React, REST/GraphQL, Postgres

• Clear, data-driven communicator

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end test strategy

  • Draft and maintain a living Test Strategy doc covering unit, integration, E2E, contract invariants, and load/perf

• Bootstrap & expand the automation framework

  • Stand up Playwright or Cypress for web/mobile-web; integrate with GitHub Actions so every PR runs green in

  • Build and maintain Foundry/Hardhat invariant tests for Solidity contracts (escrow, resolution, payouts)

• Create a zero-regression culture

  • Pair with FE/BE engineers to add tests during feature work

  • Define and track quality gates that block merges and releases

• Lead structured exploratory testing

  • Run focused manual sessions before each weekly deploy; coordinate external crowd testers for device matrices

• Instrument quality metrics

  • Build dashboards for test coverage, flake rate, and escape defects; drive continuous improvement backlogs

• Mentor and scale

  • Coach developers on writing testable code; eventually onboard junior QA engineers
