We are seeking a Legal & Compliance Manager to join our growing team and take full ownership of the company’s legal and regulatory functions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong legal background in healthcare software, extensive expertise in U.S. regulations, and experience in managing contracts and compliance. Responsibilities

  • Legal & Contract Management- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, and employees.
  • Provide legal counsel to senior management and business teams.
  • Manage relationships with external legal advisors as needed.
  • Lead the company’s compliance and regulatory strategy, focusing on U.S. healthcare regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, and other relevant policies.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary compliance adjustments.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA, privacy regulations, and industry-specific contracts.
  • Collaborate with product, R&D, and business teams to ensure regulatory compliance in all operations.

Requirements

  •  LL.B degree and a valid license to practice law.
  •  At least 6 years of experience in legal & compliance roles within the healthcare software industry ( as in-house legal consultant).
  • Proven experience in contract law, regulatory frameworks, and medical data privacy.
  • Deep knowledge of HIPAA- strong advantage.
  • Experience working with startups or tech companies.
  • Fluent English – excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong legal drafting abilities.
