Our client is one of the leading companies in the Oil & Gas industry in Africa, it's also expanding in the Gulf.

Job Description:

• Participate in all financial accounting and reporting operations.
• Prepare financial statements and other required reporting packages.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Resolve technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local, and state government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 - 7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years within the oil and gas industry.
• Proven leadership experience minimum 1 - 2 years.
• International exposure, preferably in Africa/ Mozambique is a plus.
• Willing to travel.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Solid and strong accounting and reporting skills.
• Must have exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills and analytical abilities.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Able to meet tight deadlines and due dates
• A commercial or budgeting background is a plus.
• M&A experience is a plus.
• Business Development expertise is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Working Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM (Sunday to Thursday).
• Working Model: On-site.
• Job Location: Africa (Tanzania & Mozambique).
