As a Robotics Application Engineer Intern at Intrinsic, you'll play a key role in bringing cutting-edge robotic solutions to life. You'll work directly with our innovative Flowstate software, empowering businesses to automate complex tasks and unlock new levels of efficiency.
What you'll do:
- Become a Robotics Expert: Dive deep into the world of robotics by evaluating the end-to-end user journey and ensuring seamless robot deployments.
- Empower Our Users: Identify and fill gaps in our documentation, making it easier for customers to harness the power of our technology.
- Build the Future of Automation: Create engaging and informative Application Notes that guide users through Intrinsic's solutions across a diverse range of industries and applications. You'll be prototyping and documenting real-world examples that showcase the incredible potential of our platform.
How your work moves the mission forward
- Verification and improvement of Intrinsic's robotics software (including our platform Flowstate)
- Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals in modern software development practices
- Participate in the creation of end-to-end robotics applications or the integration of robotic hardware (workcells) in an industrial setting
- Improve the user experience. Test and refine our software. Ensure smooth deployments.
- Clarify complex information. Write concise documentation. Help customers succeed.

Skills you will need to be successful
- Bachelor's student in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field.
- Knowledge and proficiency in modern software development languages, like C++ , Python and Go-lang.
- Experience or interest in creating end-to-end robotics applications or have built/integrated robotic hardware (i.e. workcells) in industry
- Effective coordination skills for complicated software development efforts across teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Programming Proficiency: You possess a strong foundation in at least one programming language, such as Python or C++, and are comfortable applying your skills in a robotics context.
- Problem-Solving Acumen: You approach challenges with a analytical mindset, breaking down complex problems into manageable steps and devising effective solutions.
- Clear Communication: You can effectively convey technical information both verbally and in writing, ensuring your ideas are easily understood by a diverse audience.
- Self-Directed Learning: You are a proactive learner, eager to explore new technologies and independently acquire the knowledge needed to succeed.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: You thrive in a collaborative environment, actively contributing to team discussions and supporting your colleagues.
