We’re seeking an experienced Head of Data & AI Ethics to join our Chief Data and Analytics Office in our newly created AI centre of Excellence who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the bank's Ethical AI policies and practices. This role is essential in ensuring the bank operates with integrity, transparency, and in accordance with regulatory and societal expectations!
You’ll take ownership for a highly specialist team of AI and Ethics experts, developing and leading the Banks AI Ethics strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall AI, Data and Group Technology strategy. You'll be expected to act as a transformative leader, with a strong vision, promoting a culture of safe and ethical AI throughout the organisation, providing thought leadership, and advising senior leaders, our executives and the Board on Ethical issues, standards and responsible AI tooling.
You’ll be leading the development and embedding of Group-wide ethical AI frameworks including the AI assurance framework, backed by a cohesive set of reusable patterns, tooling, controls and guardrails that support in the delivery of safe, ethical and well governed Data & AI solutions. Delivery will be lead in collaboration with teams across the AI CoE and in partnership with our Model Governance, Platform, Technology and Architecture teams.
