Role Summary:
As our Director of Product Marketing, you'll shape how the world understands Moonvalley's revolutionary approach to generative AI for creative content production. You'll craft compelling narratives that differentiate our clean Marey AI video model in a crowded market, enable our sales team to convey complex technical capabilities to both entertainment professionals and enterprise brands, and build a team that scales our marketing across multiple channels. This role offers the rare chance to define the category at the intersection of cutting-edge AI, premium entertainment, and innovative brand experiences.
What you’ll do:
Develop PMM Strategy and Vision: Define the overall product marketing strategy and build a roadmap for how your team will support Moonvalley's growth across different segments and channels, establishing clear priorities and success metrics.
Build and Lead the PMM Team: Recruit, develop, and lead a team of product marketers who will drive specialized initiatives including sales enablement, competitive intelligence, and segment-specific marketing programs, establishing the frameworks for consistent, high-quality execution at scale.
Partner with Product and AI Research Teams: Collaborate closely with Product and AI teams to plan and execute product launches and feature releases. Drive strategic alignment to maximize impact at major industry events, partner showcases, and industry gatherings where breakthrough AI technologies gain visibility.
Shape Messaging Architecture: Lead the development of foundational messaging frameworks that your team can adapt for different audiences, ensuring our unique value proposition as a clean and cutting-edge genAI company is consistently communicated across channels and touchpoints.
Establish Sales and Partner Enablement: Initially develop core sales materials while building the function that will eventually support our sales organization with training, tools, and content at scale across different channels and partner relationships.
Drive Strategic Market Insights: Lead efforts to gather competitive intelligence and market feedback, using these insights to inform product strategy and identify opportunities for differentiation in the rapidly evolving generative AI landscape.
What we’re looking for:
8+ years of product marketing experience with at least 3 years building and leading marketing teams, preferably in AI/ML technologies, Enterprise SaaS, and/or creative tools
Track record of establishing and scaling PMM alongside rapid company growth
Demonstrated success developing positioning for complex technical products that resonates with both technical and creative audiences
Experience hiring and leading high-performing product marketers and building scalable sales enablement programs
Strategic understanding of the generative AI landscape and vision for differentiating clean AI models
Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution in high-growth environments
