Key Responsibilities

In this challenging yet rewarding role as a Data Scientist (SME level), you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:

• Working with Splunk and Linux.
• Understanding Splunk distributed architecture and data pipelines, with hands-on implementation.
• Splunk client management and apps management.
• Integrating Splunk with various data sources such as syslog, flat files, databases, APIs, cloud platform logs, HEC endpoints.
• Splunk SPL to create searches, reports, alerts, and dashboards.
• Splunk conf files to manage inputs, props, transforms, and similar.
• Fluency with Linux OS (RHEL or Rocky 8) and Command Line Interface (CLI)
• Scripting languages such as Bash, Python.
• Powershell for task automation.
• Custom apps development.
• Regular Expression.
• AWS SDK and CLI to programmatically interface with AWS.
