Position Overview:

We are looking for a Data Scientist who has strong analytical skills and can leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques to solve complex business problems. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to extract insights from large datasets, optimize processes, and drive innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Processing:
• Collaborate with data engineers to source, integrate, and prepare data for analysis.
• Ensure data quality, completeness, and consistency for modeling and reporting.
• Advanced Analytics and Modeling:
• Perform statistical analysis to resolve business problems.
• Build and validate predictive models using machine learning and statistical techniques
• Data Interpretation and Strategy:
• Translate raw data and model outputs into actionable business strategies.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify drivers of key trends.
• Tool Development and Automation:
• Build and deploy data science tools and automated workflows for scalable solutions.
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate tools into existing systems.
• Visualization and Storytelling:
• Design intuitive dashboards and reports to showcase findings.
• Communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated on the latest data science methodologies and tools.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies to improve analytics capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages.
• Expertise in SQL and working knowledge of data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, dbt, Polytomic, etc.).
• Strong foundation in statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
• Experience working with large datasets and big data tools
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and storytelling abilities.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a data science or related role.
• Proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions.

Salary Range
$160,000 – 176,000 annually
