About the Role
We’re seeking a mission-driven Data Intern with strong Python skills and an interest in AI, automation, and data analytics. This intern will support high-priority strategic initiatives across multiple departments—including Marketing, Product, and Content—while reporting directly to the COO. You’ll play a key role in advancing our data systems, supporting AI research and integration, and improving internal workflows.
This is a cross-functional opportunity for someone eager to apply and grow technical skills in a fast-paced, purpose-driven nonprofit environment.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain Python scripts (in Google Colab) to support data cleaning, analysis, and automation tasks.
Assist in AI integration efforts—researching tools, organizing test findings, and building early-stage prototypes.
Analyze and pull structured data (e.g., user accounts, engagement metrics) for decision-making support.
Document findings, data structures, and processes to ensure clarity across teams.
Support backend logic for search, filters, and entity mapping in collaboration with Product.
Respond to data-related requests from the Marketing, Product, and Content teams.
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in Python and experience using Google Colab.
Interest in AI/ML systems, automation, and data structure design.
Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
Comfort working across technical and non-technical teams.
Familiarity with Figma or UI/UX basics is a plus.
Bonus: Experience with Mixpanel or similar analytics tools.
