Building solutions for a better life. The Bosch Building Technologies division is a leading international provider of systems, solutions and services that increase the safety of people, buildings and property and also contribute to greater comfort, energy efficiency and sustainability.

Bosch Building Technologies is divided into the international product business and the regional system integration business. Currently, the three product areas of video systems, access control & intrusion detection systems and communication systems as well as the associated cross-divisional functions within the division are to be set up as an independent unit and then further developed as a sustainable core business by a new owner.

  • International and interdisciplinary cooperation: As Computer Vision Software Tech Lead Intelligent Analytics, you will be part of the new company to be set up in the future and thus contribute to a globally networked team of around 4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries.
  • As Computer Vision Tech Lead, you will focus on the end-to-end development and implementation of state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms on surveillance cameras.
  • You follow the latest trends in computer vision, such as Generative AI, and researching their applications.
  • You analyse new product features in relation to existing software components, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • You lead the implementation of time-critical features in a holistic end-to-end environment.
  • Work hands-on with key enablers, liaising with the teams responsible for the features to develop the architecture for the implementation of innovative solutions.
  • Last but not least, you will be responsible for implementing continuous delivery and integration and ensuring efficient deployment and integration processes.

Qualifications

  • Education: completed university studies in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Experience and Knowledge: several years of professional experience in software architecture for embedded and sensor-controlled systems; algorithmic expertise in signal processing for multiple modalities
    (e.g. computer vision) to realise end-to-end product development; programming skills in relevant languages and environments; proficiency in machine learning, with a strong understanding of its applications and methods
  • Personality and Working Practice: Team player, able to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Languages: business fluent in written and spoken German and English
