Some of the things you’ll be doing:

  • Design, develop, and optimize AI/ML models for real-world applications. 
  • Implement and maintain scalable, cloud-based ML solutions. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, researchers, QA, and product managers. 
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. 
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest AI/ML research and emerging technologies. 
  • Optimize data pipelines, model deployment, and inference performance. 
  • Take ownership of projects, contribute to team success, and deliver business value. 

What technical skills, experience and qualifications do you need?

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • 1-3 years of software development experience, with a keen interest in AI/ML. 
  • Strong programming skills, particularly in Python and related tools. 
  • Strong proficiency with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, etc.). 
  • Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and best practices. 
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) and MLOps tools. 
  • Experience with web frameworks (FastAPI, Svelte, React, etc.). 
  • Experience with graph databases, knowledge graphs, and vector databases. 
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Self-motivated with a passion for AI/ML and software development. 

Nice-to-have Skills and Experience 

  • Understanding of microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD. 
  • Exposure to large-scale data processing frameworks (Dask, Spark, Ray, etc.). 
  • Experience in feature engineering, model explainability, and bias mitigation. 
  • Familiarity with deploying ML models in production environments. 
  • Knowledge of the Azure and Azure AI Foundry ecosystems. 
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
