Here’s what you’ll be doing

• Develop and maintain the SigTech Platform: Pioneer new approaches by integrating cutting-edge AI models and developing analytical tools.
• Collaborate across teams: Work alongside Engineers, UX, and Quant Teams to innovate and maintain existing functionalities.
• Lead and own projects: Take responsibility for product quality, lead projects, and participate in code reviews.
• Stay ahead of technology trends: Champion and incorporate emerging technologies into our platform.
• Drive Rest API development: Utilize frameworks like Flask and FastAPI for high-performance API creation.

Requirements

You need these qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Python and major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven expertise in building Rest APIs with frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
• Strong proficiency in software development best practices, including CI, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with the Linux ecosystem and databases like Postgres and Redis.
• A keen interest in finance and AI.

It would be nice if

• You have front-end experience with ReactJS, HTML, and JS, and have worked with JupyterHub/VSCode plugins.
• You’re familiar with open/closed source LLMs and AI frameworks like PyTorch and Langchain.
• You have experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• You understand serverless architectures like AWS Lambda, GCP Functions, or Azure equivalents.
